Who We Are

This website, jacobshireman.com, is operated by Jacob Shireman — a marketing strategist, licensed Texas Realtor, and founder of Hi5 Biz Solutions, based in Houston, Texas. Throughout this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Jacob Shireman and Hi5 Biz Solutions.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what your browser sends automatically, and what our service providers record on our behalf.

Information you give us. When you submit a contact form, request a strategy call, book an appointment, submit a speaking inquiry, join a training or course, or subscribe to updates, we collect:

• Name, email address and phone number
• Business or brokerage name, role, market and website, where you provide them
• The content of your message, inquiry or intake answers
• Appointment details — date, time, time zone and any notes you add
• Billing details for paid services, processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical data when you visit:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Browser type, operating system, device type and screen size
• Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL and exit links
• Date and time of access

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal information — such as government ID numbers, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data — and we ask that you do not send them to us through this site.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and schedule, confirm or reschedule calls
• Provide the marketing, consulting, coaching, training and speaking services you request
• Send service messages — appointment reminders, account notices, receipts and delivery of purchased material
• Send marketing emails and text messages where you have opted in, which you can stop at any time

• Meet legal, tax, accounting and real estate licensing obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

SMS & Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number and consent to text messages, we may send appointment reminders, follow-ups related to your inquiry, and — where you have separately opted in — promotional messages about services, trainings and events.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply
• Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Mobile numbers and SMS consent collected on this site are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

Cookies & Analytics

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our providers use them to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic in aggregate.

• Essential cookies — required for forms, booking widgets and security. The site does not function correctly without them.
• Analytics cookies — help us count visits and see which pages perform, in aggregate rather than by name.
• Advertising cookies — set by advertising platforms so we can measure campaign results and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site.

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is still no common industry standard for interpreting that signal, this site does not currently respond to it. Blocking cookies may break booking and form functionality.

How Information Is Shared

We share personal information only in the following situations:

• Service providers. Companies that run parts of our operation on our behalf — CRM and marketing automation, scheduling, email and SMS delivery, payment processing, web hosting, analytics and advertising platforms. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Real estate transactions. If you engage us in a real estate capacity, information may be shared with our brokerage, cooperating agents, title companies, lenders and transaction coordinators as required to complete the transaction.
• Legal requirements. Where we are required to by law, subpoena, court order or regulatory request, or to establish or defend legal claims.
• Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case the acquiring party assumes the obligations in this policy.
• With your direction. Any other sharing you specifically ask us to do.

How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, plus any period required by law. In practice that means inquiry and client records are retained for the life of the relationship and for a reasonable period afterward; transaction, tax and real estate records are retained for the periods Texas law and our brokerage require; and marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and comparable state laws — you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
• Request a copy of that information in a portable format
• Correct information that is inaccurate
• Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements
• Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, email jacob@h5biz.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time frame your state's law requires. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any message. To stop text messages, reply STOP.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we work with established providers that maintain their own administrative, technical and physical safeguards. Access to client information is limited to people who need it to do their job.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own risk. Please do not email sensitive documents or identification numbers unsolicited.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Sites

This site links to platforms we do not control — including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, HighLevel, our brokerage, and partner businesses. Once you follow a link, that company's privacy policy governs what happens to your information. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing information.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as our services, tools or legal obligations change. When we do, we revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site where required. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
