In this guide, I’ll share six essential tips that will help your videos rank higher, gain more views, and generate leads to grow your real estate business.

1. Use Keywords in Your Script
YouTube’s AI listens to your video and creates captions based on what you say. That means using the right keywords in your dialogue is crucial for SEO. Instead of just relying on titles and descriptions, incorporate phrases that match what people search for. For example:
- “Today I’m sharing the top tips to sell your home fast in Houston.”
- “If you’re a homeowner in Houston looking to sell, this guide is for you.”
Pro Tip: Avoid keyword stuffing. The AI is smart enough to recognize natural speech, so use keywords in a way that flows naturally within your content.
2. Optimize Your Title and Description
Your video title and description tell YouTube exactly what your content is about. A well-optimized description helps both YouTube and viewers understand your video before watching. Here’s how to do it:
- Include relevant keywords naturally in the first two sentences.
- Use three to five relevant hashtags (e.g., #RealEstate, #HomeSelling, #HoustonHomes).
- Add links to blog articles, lead capture forms, or other resources.
Example of a strong description:

3. Create a Compelling Title and Thumbnail
