How to Create an Effective Buyer Guide Landing Page with KV Core: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Replace the Logo
Begin by clicking on the current logo and selecting “Change Image.” With KV Core’s new image-saving feature, you can store your images directly. Here, we’ll insert the EXP logo for demonstration. Adjust the image size as needed, though you may leave it as is to save time.
Step 2: Update Text
Next, update the landing page text. If you already have a PDF buyer guide, highlight the content and use a tool like ChatGPT to generate a title, header, and brief persuasive points for the landing page. These points should outline why the buyer guide is valuable. Customize the text to reflect the guide’s actual content—whether it’s an investor guide, relocation guide, or a specific type. Step 3: Change the Background Image
To make the landing page visually appealing, change the background image. Head to “Settings,” then “Page Settings,” and look for the background image options. You can either upload your image (recommended size: 2,000 x 1,333 pixels) or search for free images within KV Core’s library. Once selected, apply an overlay to ensure the text remains readable, adding a layer with a reduced opacity over the image.
Step 4: Customize the Form Fields
For a streamlined form, remove unnecessary labels from fields like “First Name” and “Last Name” for a modern look. Edit the button text to something more compelling, such as “Download Free Guide Now.” Customize the button’s colors and style as desired for consistency with your branding.
Step 5: Publish the Landing Page
Once your design is complete, hit “Publish.” You can test the download by entering a sample name and email address. After submission, ensure the landing page redirects to a thank-you page, confirming successful setup.
Step 6: Set Up a Smart Campaign in KV Core
To automate communication with leads, set up a Smart Campaign tailored to the buyer guide:
- Filter and Clone Campaign: In the “Smart Campaigns” section, use an existing campaign as a template by cloning it. Rename it to reflect that it’s for buyer leads acquired via the buyer guide.
- Adjust Lead Triggers: Set up the new campaign to trigger only for new leads marked with the “Buyer Guide” tag. This ensures that general buyer leads don’t receive this specific campaign unless they requested the guide.
- Email the Guide Immediately: Customize the campaign to send the buyer guide immediately upon lead capture. Instead of a text message, an email will contain the download link. Copy the link to your buyer guide (ensure the permissions allow anyone with the link to view) and add it to your email’s first action step.
- Create Campaign Content: Adjust the default campaign sequence. Shift the initial follow-up text by one day and use an immediate email to deliver the buyer guide link. An example email might look like this:

Thank you for requesting the buyer guide! Click the link below to download your free copy: [Link] If you have questions about the buying process, feel free to reach out.
